Chez Spencer gate
These gates were designed by Isabelle Francois for her cousin, Chez Spencer owner and Executive Chef Laurent Katgelythe. Ms. Francois and I fabricated this gate for the restaurant opening in 2002. Security was the main concern but it was imperative the gate allow light into the dining garden courtyard. Although formidable in size, the doors have an air of weightlessness and permit views into the oasis beyond.
