The Crucible is an arts education center that fosters the collaboration of art, industry and community. Through training in the fine and industrial arts, The Crucible promotes creative expression, reuse of materials and innovative design while serving as an accessible arts venue for the public. I teach the Ceramic Shell metal casting process class there on Monday nights, we have a blast so come join us!

This is my employer and friend, the San Francisco sculptor Fletcher Benton's website showcasing his 50 years as a major artist . I have worked for this prolific man almost 7 years now and his impression on me and my approach to working will be longstanding. There are several pieces on his site which I built for him such as the lager rusted pieces of the Donut series, Going Around the Corner, Alphabet series and more. He has just received the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center. Congratulations Fletcher!
